SEO Landing Page
Ship a landing page that ranks and converts: title, IA, proof, and crawlable structure.
SEO Landing Page
Use this skill when writing or restructuring a marketing landing page in Next.js.
Goal
One page, one offer, crawlable metadata, and a single primary action. Rank for the job-to-be-done, not the brand name.
Inputs
- Product name and one-line wedge
- Who it is for (tool + role)
- Free vs paid distinction
- Proof you can actually show (count of skills, price, studio name)
Do not invent testimonials, logos, or metrics.
Page skeleton
- Title / H1 — outcome + audience. Example: "Installable agent skills for Cursor and Claude Code"
- Subhead — what it is and the free/pro split in one sentence
- Primary CTA — Browse skills or Start Pro. One is primary.
- How it works — 3 steps max
- Catalog proof — real skills from the database, not lorem
- Pricing — Free browse / Pro $9/mo. Hide Lifetime unless configured
- FAQ — objections: "Do I need OAuth to Cursor?" (no), "Can I download .md?" (yes, when unlocked)
Metadata
Set in app/layout.tsx or the page:
title: ≤60 chars, uniquedescription: ≤155 chars, includes audience + offer- Open Graph title/description match the visible H1 intent
- One H1. H2s map to the skeleton above
Copy rules
- Lead with the job ("review a PR", "design an API"), not "AI-powered"
- Price is a number, not "affordable"
- Name the tools: Cursor, Claude Code, Codex
- Footer attribution stays "Built by WedgeWerks"
Anti-patterns
- Hero video, sliders, or autoplay
- Six CTAs above the fold
- "Unlock your potential"
- Keyword stuffing the H1
- Blocking the catalog behind a signup wall (Free must browse)
