X Threads

Use this skill when turning a shipped change, incident, or essay into a thread on X.

Goal

A thread a working engineer finishes. Specific, numbered, no growth-hack voice.

Inputs

• What shipped or broke
• Who it helps
• One concrete example (slug, price, command, file)
• A URL if the thing is public

If you do not have a real example, write a draft and flag the missing fact. Do not fabricate engagement numbers.

Form

• Tweet 1: the claim + who it is for. No "thread 🧵" unless the user asks.
• Tweets 2–6: one idea each. Show a step, a snippet, or a number.
• Last tweet: the link and what to do ("Browse the free skills").

Keep each tweet ≤240 characters so it does not look stuffed.

Voice

• Short sentences
• Name the product once in tweet 1, then talk about the work
• No emoji walls, no "RT if you agree", no fake screenshots

Anti-patterns

• Quote-tweet bait

• Threads that restate the landing page hero six times
